Impreza Owner Far From Impressed

BILL Liao, featured in last week's motoring column, has been reunited with his Subaru Impreza WRX.

Police recovered the stolen Subaru after a chase and a collision last weekend. The car had allegedly been used in a ram raid and officers apprehended two teenagers.

The Subaru sustained an estimated $10,000 worth of damage, and after fingerprinting, will be inspected by security experts to ascertain if its sophisticated immobiliser system was beaten by the alleged culprits.

There was no sign of Mr Liao's $3,000 computer tool kit, he reports.
